NRE Coke Limited has been chosen for the prestigious �Greentech
Safety Silver Award for the year 2002-2003� in the manufacturing
Coke Sector. The award will be given away by Hon'ble Sri Ram
Nayek, Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Govt. of
India and Hon'ble Smt. Jayawanti Mehta, Union Minister of
State for Power, Govt. of India on 26th June, 2003 at Goa.
The award comes as a recognition for the safety measures taken
by the company and its impeccable record since inception in
the field of worker safety as well environment friendliness.

testimonial of an organisation's commitment to health, safety
and environment.
The award comes at a time when �Gujarat NRE Coke� is
running ahead in its own stream. Production and profitability
of the company is on a soaring path and the company has just
finished despatching bonus shares to its shareholders in the
ratio of 1:2 along with a 10 percent dividend. In the current
year too, the company�s performance is in tune with the immediate
past as a global shortage and consequent firming up of coke
prices is helping the company with better realisations.
