Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd has allotted 3,50,00,000 Convertible Warrants of Rs.120/- each on Preferential/Private Placement Basis to Promoters/ Promoter Group Companies today, i e on 3rd January, 2008 in accordance with the approval to such an issue by the Shareholders of the Company through postal ballot as per its results declared on 21st December' 2007. This reflects immense confidence of the Promoters in the potential of the Company. It would also help the Promoters to improve their holdings in the Company in the wake of substantial conversions of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB) issued by the Company and massive interest shown by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) through market purchase of the shares of the Company.
